Golden Tigers beat Deshler for third straight win

Terence Smith scored 19 points for Russellville on Monday as the Golden Tigers rallied to beat Deshler 67-58.
The visiting Tigers led by nine at the half before Russellville out-scored them 26-12 in the third quarter.
The Golden Tigers (12-4) then out-scored Deshler 24-20 in the fourth quarter to secure their third straight win.
Siran Winston and Caleb Mitchell each had 12 points for Russellville, and Jermaine Bates added nine. Andy Pounders finished with eight, and Justin Thorne had seven.
Chris Holland and Kenyatta Abernathy each had 15 points to lead Deshler.

Russellville 52 Florence 50-OT
Siran Winston's two free throws with 10 seconds left in overtime lifted Russellville past the visiting Falcons on Friday.
Jermaine Bates led the Golden Tigers with 14 points, and Winston finished with 12. Caleb Mitchell had nine, and Terence Smith added seven.
Davis Brewer led Florence with 18 points, and Adam Threet added 14.
Belgreen 59 Vina 47
Kyle Warren scored 24 points to lead the Bulldogs in Friday's Class 1A, Area 16 win.
Belgreen (5-13, 3-5) led 30-23 before out-scoring Vina 29-24 in the fourth quarter.
Lucas Albert and Shane Fretwell each added 12 points for the Bulldogs.
Brent Townsend led the Red Devils with 11 points. B.J. Beard and Blake Thorn each had 10.
Phil Campbell 58 Hackleburg 14
Tanner Maddox led the Bobcats (10-10) with 13 points in Friday's win.
Caleb Thompson added 11 points for Phil Campbell, and Chase Hutcheson and Brett Thomas each had seven.
Varsity girls
Deshler 83 Russellville 28
Ashleigh Jackson led top-ranked Deshler (21-0) with 17 points in Monday's win.
Courtnei Bowens and Hope Davidson each added 12 points for the Lady Tigers, who led 25-9 after one quarter and 48-18 at the half.
Tasha West led Russellville with seven points, and Jordan Dollar added six.
Hackleburg 61 Phil Campbell 60-OT
Cindy Kivette scored 34 points on Friday as Hackleburg rallied from a 19-point halftime deficit to beat Phil Campbell in overtime.
Paige Pope's free throw with 16 seconds left gave Hackleburg the lead for good after a basket by Phil Campbell's Shelly Cooper in the final seconds of regulation sent the game into overtime.
The Lady Bobcats (7-13) led 37-18 at the half, but Kivette scored 16 points in the third quarter as Hackleburg out-scored Phil Campbell 19-4 to get back in the game.
Chasity Morgan and Caitlin Stancil each had 17 points to lead the Lady Bobcats. Cooper finished with 15.
Hope Hudson added 17 points for Hackleburg (11-5).
Florence 49 Russellville 43
Jordan Dollar led Russellville with 17 points in Friday's loss.
The Lady Golden Tigers led by 10 at halftime before being out-scored 15-2 in the third quarter.
Stephanie Martin had 18 points to lead Florence (12-9), and Charnise Mitchell added 17.
Sasha Willingham added 11 points for Russellville.
