Project Share applications will be accepted January 2

The Community Action Agency of Northwest Alabama, Inc. will begin accepting applications on Jan. 2, 2007 for Project Share, an energy assistance program for the low income elderly or disabled.
Residents of Franklin County can set up an appointment by calling the Community Action Agency at 332-7534.
To qualify for assistance, the family income must be within certain guidelines depending on the size of each household.
In addition, head of the household must be 62 years old or older, or must be receiving a disability check.
Project Share is funded through voluntary pledges made by customers of participating energy suppliers. Please help those in need this winter by donating to the Project Share through your energy provider.
