RHS trio signs at Northwest-Shoals

Russellville High School seniors Shayna Glasgow, Lindsay Cole and Jennifer Fennel signed tennis scholarships with Northwest-Shoals Community College on Tuesday.
Northwest-Shoals tennis coach Kristy Ward has signed several players from Russellville over the past few years.
Lindsey Rickard signed with the Patriots last year, and LeAnn Long signed with Northwest-Shoals three years ago after Rea's first season as head coach.
Glasgow, Fennel and Cole were playing in the Class 5A, Section 6 tournament at Huntsville on Thursday.
Russellville's girls were hoping to join the boys team in qualifying for next week's state tournament, which will be held in Mobile.
