Bobcats start season strong

Kevin Lacey drove in five runs and Griffin Harris had four RBIs on Monday as Phil Campbell improved to 3-0 with a 13-8 win over Lauderdale County at the Colbert County Invitational in Sheffield.
Harris had three hits, and Lacey added two. Adam Mitchell (1-0) was the winning pitcher, and Randy Cochran earned the save.

Griffin Harris hit a two-run homer for the Bobcats, and Randy Cochran and Kevin Lacey each added RBI singles.
Caleb Thompson (1-0) pitched four innings to get the win, and Adam Mitchell went the final three innings to earn the save.

Jonathan Dill (1-0) got the win with four solid innings.
Kevin Lacey led Phil Campbell at the plate with a three-run double, and Caleb Thompson had a two-run double.
Deshler 7 Russellville 2
Caleb Mitchell and Jake Ward each had two hits to lead Russellville (2-2) in Monday's loss at the Pepsi Invitational.
Florence 10 Russellville 4
Jacob Daniel and Caleb Mitchell each had two hits for the Golden Tigers in Saturday's loss at the Pepsi Invitational at Deshler.
Seth Fergerson and Evan Fergerson each had a double for Russellville.
