Services for James "Buster" Taylor will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church with the Rev. David Mosley officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery with Clark's Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Taylor, 50, of Meridian, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his mother, Ethel Taylor; six sisters, Mary Mosley, Sandra Ratcliff, Juanita Thomas, Angela Taylor, Jacqueline Cleveland, and Adetura Taylor; a step sister, Angela Cole Naylor; and a brother, Douglas Taylor, all of Meridian.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Taylor; and three siblings.
Visitation will be Monday from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services for Edward "Peter" Hearn will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Pearlie Grove Baptist Church in Quitman with the Rev. Lummie Hearn officiating. Burial will be in Archusa Cemetery with Berry &Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hearn, 67, of Quitman, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include a daughter, Theresa Haralson and her husband, Willie; and a son, Edward F. Hearn, both of Quitman; two sisters, Annie Scarbrough of Quitman and Katie Mays of Meridian; two brothers, the Rev. Lummie Hearn of Stockton, Calif., and Willie Hearn of Quitman; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the church.
Services for James Brooks were held Saturday at Berry &Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Odell Hopkins officiating. Burial was in Sunset Cemetery.
Mr. Brooks, 46, of Meridian, died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2004, in New York.
Survivors include his wife, Lorene Young Brooks of Meridian; three sons, James Brooks Jr., of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Sam Cole and Darrigan Bailey, both of Meridian; a daughter, Verertsha Young of Meridian; two brothers, Michael Brooks and his wife, Kim, of Atlanta and Jerry Brooks of Meridian; and four sisters, Cherry Warren, Mary "Emma Mae" Hill, Mittie Brooks and Fannie Grant, all of Meridian.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers.
