SEBASTOPOL Services for Nathan Lane Anderson will be held today at 2 p.m. at Pine Grove Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Ray Files, Mark Copeland and Joe Robbins officiating. Burial will be in High Hills Baptist Church Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Nathan Anderson, 11, of Sebastopol, died Friday, Aug. 6, 2004, at Leake Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include his father, Derek Lynn Anderson; his mother, Rhonda Michelle Anderson; and his brother, Logan Anderson, all of Sebastopol; his grandparents, Thomas Wayne Sullivan and his wife, Lynn, of Union, and Glen Davidson and his wife, Sandra, of Sebastopol; his step grandparents, Sammy Ladd and his wife, Helen, of Leesburg; his great-grandmother, Mildred Sistrunk of Sebastopol; his great-grandfather, J.R. Sullivan of Philadelphia; three uncles, Michael Davidson and his wife, Jennifer, of Sebastopol, Brad Sullivan and his wife, Ahlena, of Union, and Shannon Sullivan and his wife, Stephanie, of Union; and three aunts, Brandy Norton of Union, Cheryl Havard of Tupelo, and Rhonda Havard of Sebastopol.
Pallbearers will be Barry Loper, Ken Gilmore, Joe Lee, David Earl Freemy, Jerry Peoples and John Fisher.
Honorary pallbearers will be Blake Germany, Jeffrey Dennis, Danny Blount, Jacob King, John Williams, Patrick Sistrunk, Kyle Sistrunk, Andy Griffin, Quint Gilmore, Joseph Freemy, Tony Sistrunk, Darren Hillman, and Gus Wilcher.
Services for Olivia Hunt will be held today at 2 p.m. at Little Zion Baptist Church in Collinsville with the Rev. Charlie Watson officiating. Burial will be in Little Zion Cemetery with Berry &Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hunt, 92, of Collinsville, died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2004, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include three daughters, Geraldine Cox and Mary James, both of Collinsville, and Jean Luckett of Daleville; a son, Jessie Hunt of Collinsville; and stepchildren, Dorothy Altman of Collinsville; Mary L. Cole of Chicago, Juanita Williams of Tampa, Fla., and Willie J. Hunt of Miami, Fla.; and 34 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Isaac Hunt, and her husband, Joe W. Hunt.
Retired painter
Services for Walter Douglas "Fuzzy" Boyd will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Paul Earley and Tommy Jones officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Boyd, 74, of Meridian, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004, in his home. He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict who served in the 7th Infantry Division.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia "Pat" Harwell Boyd of Meridian; a son, Walter Douglas Boyd II, of Meridian; a daughter, Donna Lynn McHan of Augusta, Ga.; two grandchildren, Connie McHan and Mckie Smith of Augusta; two brothers Creed Boyd, of Houston, Texas and Travis Boyd of Meridian; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Alice Marie Bielefeld; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Beriah M. Boyd.
The family requests memorials be made to Harper Hospice.
Pallbearers will be Keith Boyd, Chip Harwell, Steve Dennis, Shelby Smith, Keith Albanese, and Larry Hensley.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Davis Sunday School Class.
Visitation will be Monday from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Eula Suporia Bennett will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at New Prospect Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Cryer Sr., officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Berry &Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bennett, 52, of Meridian, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include her mother, Johnnie R. Henderson; a sister, Carrie Henderson; a brother, Gerald "Ooga Lo" Henderson; and four children, Cavaleer Bennett, Otis Bennett Jr., Leslie Portis and her husband, Dennis, and Christian Bennett, all of Meridian; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services were held July 20, 2004, in Meridian at Barham Funeral Home Chapel for the Rev. Robert E. Boyette, 87, with the Rev. James Williams officiating. Burial was in the mausoleum at Magnolia Cemetery. His wife and beloved partner of more than 62 years, Gladys O. Daniels Boyette, preceded him in death.
Rev. Boyette was ordained in 1949. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Anderson College, his Bachelor of Divinity and Master of Arts from Butler University, and his Masters and Doctorate of Divinity from Christian Theological Seminary.
Rev. Boyette was an active minister of the Church of God, establishing and pastoring churches in Indiana. He was later Director of Chaplains for the Veterans Administration in Washington, D.C. and served as Senior Protestant Chaplain for the Veterans Administration in Chicago, Indianapolis and Bay Pines, Fla., where he received service awards from the American Protestant Hospital Association. Rev. Boyette received the Distinguished Service Medal for his years of counseling injured veterans.
An avid writer, his prayers and sermons were published and found a worldwide audience. An avid humanitarian, Rev. Boyette was a member of international service agencies including International Aid, American Korean Foundation, CARE, Project Hope, World Missions and Planned Parenthood World Population. He served on the board of directors for World Aid and Optimist International. He was past president of Florida Kiwanis and a board member of Seminole Country Club.
Rev. Boyette served on the Board of Directors for Laymen's Life Insurance for more than 40 years. He was past owner of the Marlin and Sand's condominiums in St. Petersburg, Fla., and was an active environmentalist. His holdings of mangrove property in Florida helped to preserve the wetlands and native habitat. He was active in environmental organizations to help save Florida's marshlands and he donated funds to reclaim the Florida Keys. His legacy lives on in his nephew, Wilson Lovett.
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for George Bunyard who died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004, in Shreveport, La.
