Kayla Rose Monsour of Meridian and James LeRoy Mills Jr. of Memphis, Tenn. announce their engagement.
Miss Monsour is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Butch Gray and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Monsour.
Mr. Mills is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Mills Sr. of Pensacola, Fla.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Cathedral Assembly of God Church, Meridian.
Miss Monsour is the granddaughter of the late Charles Monsour and Lucille Waller and the late H.L. McMillan of New Orleans and Laverne McMillan.
The bride-elect received a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Memphis.
Miss Monsour is a registered nurse at Riley Hospital in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Mr. Mills is the grandson of Jim Mills and the late Gladys Mills and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Pearce.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of of the Memphis Culinary Academy.
A reception will be held at Briarwood Country Club following the ceremony.
