Parker, Hollingsworth

Mr. and Mrs. Willie Parker of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Joni Elizabeth, to James Wesley Hollingsworth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hollingsworth Jr. of Meridian.
The wedding is Saturday, July 31, 2004, at 4 p.m. at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.
Miss Parker is the granddaughter of the late Margaret and Shade Shelby and the late Estell Alexander and the late Earnest Parker.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School and will receive an associate's degree in radiologic technology from Meridian Community College in August.
While attending MCC, she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and the Student Association of Radiologic Technology.
Miss Parker is employed by Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center as a radiologic technologist.
Mr. Hollingsworth is the grandson of Grace Hollingsworth and the late Harold C. Hollingsworth Sr. and Billy and Catherine Whitaker and the late Vergia Whitaker.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School and attended East Central Community College and Meridian Community College.
Mr. Hollingsworth is employed by Meridian Fire Department and The Service Company.
