    TUSCALOOSA, Ala. Services for Richard S. Jarman Sr. will be held today at 3 p.m. at Tuscaloosa Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Memory Hill Gardens Cemetery.
    Mr. Jarman, 79, of Tuscaloosa, died Thursday, July 15, 2004, at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
    Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

    MACON Graveside services for William B. "Slim" Russell will be held today at 4 p.m. at Mashulaville Cemetery with the Rev. Greg Duncan officiating. Cockrell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Russell, 67, of Macon, died Sunday, July 11, 2004, in his home.
    Survivors include his daughter, Eppie Faye Russell of Ellisville; a sister, Boyce E. Abston of Benevola Community; brothers, Charles Russell of Shuqualak, Lawrence Russell of Macon and James Russell of Wahalak.
    Visitation will be today following the service at Mashulaville Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

    DEKALB Services for Walterene Roberts will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at New Hope Blackwater Baptist Church in Daleville with the Rev. J.P. Windham officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. E.E. McDonald Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Roberts, 92, of DeKalb, died Tuesday, July 13, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Survivors include a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons.
    Visitation will be Sunday one hour prior to the service at the church.

    PHILADELPHIA Services for Georgie Ethredge Willis will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Lawrence Runnels officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Neshoba County.
    Mrs. Willis, 101, of Philadelphia, died Friday, July 16, 2004, at Neshoba County General Hospital in Philadelphia. She was born on Nov. 30, 1902 and moved to the Arlington Community of Neshoba County at an early age. After more than 50 years of farm life, she was employed by the State Hospital at Whitfield where she retired. She lived in the Longino Community in Neshoba County and New Albany before moving to the Neshoba County Nursing Home in 1998. She was a member of North Calvary Baptist Church.
    Survivors include her son, Donald Willis of Melbourne, Fla.; grandchildren, Pat Edwards Berry of Columbus, Cynthia Willis McCain, of Issaquah, Wash., Jeffery Willis of Rockledge, Fla., Glenda Willis Beiswenger of Jacksonville, Fla., and Donna Willis McKeeman of Lake Worth, Fla.; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Dr. Jim Edwards of New Albany and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Batie Willis and her daughter, Jackie Edwards.
    Memorials may be made to Oak Grove Cemetery Fund, 11300 Marty Stuart Drive, Carthage, MS 39501.
    Visitation will be Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

    QUITMAN Graveside services for Katie Thrash Ivey were held Thursday at 11 a.m. at East Pleasant Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Clarence Tillman officiating. Wright's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Ivey, 71, of Meridian, died Tuesday, July 13, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Survivors include her son, George McCoy and his wife, Janet, of Meridian; a brother, James Thrash of Quitman; sisters, Mattie C. Callaway of Orlando, Fla., Mary Ruth Jones of Lavergue, Tenn. and a grandchild, Jennifer James McCoy of Meridian.
    Arrangements were incomplete at E.E. McDonald Funeral Home for Lyvonia Hopkins, 85, of DeKalb, who died Thursday, July 15, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Adine Townsend, 96, of Meridian, who died Friday, July 16, 2004, at Heartfelt Hospice.
