QUITMAN Services for Thomas Lamar Floyd will be held today at 10 a.m. at Concord Methodist Church with the Revs. Keith Bogan and Jerry Read officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Floyd, 90, of Enterprise, died Wednesday, July 7, 2004, at Riley Nursing Center.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Lucille B. Floyd, of Enterprise; sons, Lamar Floyd and Carlton Floyd, both of Enterprise; daughters, Millie Robinson of Meridian and Waldine McNeil of Enterprise; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Sally Sims Floyd; his first wife, Elna Banes Floyd; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert L. and Ruby Boone Floyd; six half-sisters, Ava Little, Eula Touchstone, Euna Nye, Renvy Harris, Alice Walters and Clara Little; two half-brothers, Allen Floyd and Bennett Floyd.
Memorials may be made to the Concord Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Bogan, Jason Reynolds, Billy Floyd, Doug Stinson, Matthew Bogan, Pete Floyd, Trey Gray and Lamar Reed. Honorary pallbearers will be Claude Little, Clyde Little, Jerry Risher, Eric Reed, Lamar Moore, and Masons of Enterprise Lodge.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Ira Lee Skipper will be held today at 11 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Neshoba County with the Rev. James Young officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Skipper, 78, of Union, died Wednesday, July 7, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Ella Skipper of Union; a daughter, Mary Fields of Philadelphia; a son, Wallace Skipper of Union; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and a sister, Jackie Culpepper of Meridian.
Visitation will be today 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Mavareen Gammill will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. James Young officiating. Burial will be in Hester Cemetery in Neshoba County.
Mrs. Gammill, 61, of Collinsville, died Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her son, Jerry Gammill Jr. of Chicago; two grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Letson of Huntsville, Ala., Mildred Goforth of Collinsville, Jacqueline Perrygin of Blytheville, Ark. and Doris McMurry of Lexington, Tenn.; brothers, Bobby Gene Burleson of Weirsdale, Fla., and J.B. Burleson of Joliet, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Colianni and a son, John Gammill.
Visitation will be today from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Graveside services for Herbert S. "Mack" McRae Jr. will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery with the Revs. Jason Bird and Elvin Sunds officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. McRae, 83, of Meridian, died Wednesday, July 7, 2004, at The Specialty Hospital of Meridian. He was a native of the Whynot Community and a graduate of Meridian High School. He was a veteran and served as a flight engineer in the 452nd Bomb Group of the Eighth Air Force during World War II. He completed 35 bombing missions on Germany. He was retired as a claims authorizer for the Social Security Administration and worked most in Birmingham, Ala., with the Southeastern Program Center.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Louise "Miss Weezie" Ellis McRae of Meridian; sons, John Michael McRae of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Joseph David McRae and his wife, Harriette, of Morris, Ala., and Jeffery Steven McRae, of Birmingham, a sister, Margaret Whitehead of Denver, Colo.; a brother, Joseph W. McRae of Summerville, S.C.; a sister-in-law, Mary Jean Curtis of Meridian; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert S. and Allie Maude McRae; brothers-in-law, Frank Whitehead, Billie B. Curtis and John Ellis and an infant daughter.
Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society, Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church or St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Pallbearers will be Bob Conor, Ben Rose, Phillip Price, David Roddie, Joe Roddie and Larry Birzer.
Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
