Sheriff's department investigates armed robbery in Collinsville

The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at SuperStop #8 in Collinsville at 12:30 a.m. today.
Three black men entered the gas station on Highway 19 with their heads covered and took money out of the cash register, said Maj. Ward Calhoun of the sheriff's department. No one was injured during the robbery.
Calhoun said the three men are suspects in another armed robbery that occurred about 4 a.m. in Philadelphia.
Residents with information are asked to call at 917-8888. Rewards of up to $1,000 are possible for information leading to an arrest.
