Central UMC invites kids to dance their way through summer

Let's dance.
Children in kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to be part of a summer dance camp at Central United Methodist Church.
The camp will be taught in four weekly sessions by Heather Goodwin of Meridian, a 17-year dance student. The first class is May 31-June 4, followed by June 7-11, June 21-25 and June 28-July 2. Classes will meet from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and the cost is $20. Students should bring a bag lunch and bottled water.
Goodwin said ballet, liturgical and holy hip-hop dance routines will be taught.
Applications for the classes are available at Central United Methodist Church, Mission Meridian and Little People Boutique.
