Officials on Friday lifted a boil water notice for customers who get their drinking water from the North Lauderdale Water Association located in Lauderdale County.
Water from the system no longer needs boiling prior to consumption, said Lynn Pratt, manager of the water system.
Users were first advised to boil their drinking water on May 7 after the system lost pressure. Tests performed by the Mississippi State Department of Health Laboratory indicate the water now meets the standards of the Safe Drinking Water Law.
