Bosarge, Coats

Elizabeth Leigh Coats of Meridian and Master Sgt. O.S. "Stu" Bosarge Jr. of Scooba were married Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004, at the home of the bride's cousins, Vicki and Glenn Kasper. The Rev. Roy Hurst officiated at the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Tom Coats of Meridian, Stuart Bosarge of Baton Rouge, La., and Regina Bosarge of Wahalak. The bride is the granddaughter of Leigh Coats.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Amber Wells was the Bible bearer. Harley and Haden Myers were flower girls. The father of the bridegroom served as best man.
Following a honeymoon to California, the couple resides at Camp Pendleton, Calif. The bridegroom has served in the U.S. Marine Corps for more than 21 years.
The bride was involved in many community projects around Meridian and served as chairman of the city's annual Christmas parade for seven years.
