PHILADELPHIA Services for Eloise Stovall will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Spanish Oak Cemetery in Kemper County.
Mrs. Stovall, 84, of DeKalb, died Saturday, March 6, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Teer of Preston; Jane Stovall, and Polly Smith, both of DeKalb; sons, David Stovall of Grand Bay, Ala.; Buck Stovall and Jimmy Stovall, both of Philadelphia; 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Sadie Gray, Mildred Estes and Frances Branning, all of Philadelphia; and her brother, Eldred Spears of Union.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Stovall, and her grandchild, Mindy Stovall.
Visitation will be today from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
SEBASTOPOL Services for Delia Minter will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel in Sebastopol with the Rev. John Sharp officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Hattiesburg.
Mrs. Minter, 82, of Carthage, died Friday, March 5, 2004, at River Oaks Hospital in Jackson.
Survivors include her daughter, Deidra M. Turner of Koscuisko; her sister, Verna Smith of Carthage; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
BUTLER, Ala. Graveside services for Robert Donald "Bobby" Thrash will be held Monday at 5 p.m. at the Thrash Family Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Williams officiating. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Thrash, 79, of Butler, died Saturday, March 6, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He served as a U.S. Marine in World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Eloise Thrash, and his daughter, Amy Thrash Fagan and her husband, Lowell, all of Butler, Ala.; his sister, Dot Hardin of Meridian; and grandchildren, Robert Fagan and Lauren Fagan.
Pallbearers will be Jason Armistead, Darryl Sammons, Danny Etheridge, Randy Goodman, Roland Biship and Walter Wayne Hall. Honorary pallbearers will be Pat Lindsey, Wayne Turner, Lee McPhearson, Allen Green and James Clyde Grace.
Visitation will be today from 3 p.m.-4:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services for Gertrude Hellen will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at First Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Alvin Clay officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Clark's Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hellen, 67, of Meridian, died Thursday, March 4, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include her two daughters, Gloria Hellen of Meridian; and Natasha Hellen of Atlanta; three sons, Larry Hellen of Atlanta; Richard Hellen of Killeen, Texas; and Edward Hellen of Natchitoches, La.; two brothers, Roy Stennis and Michael Stennis, both of Bailey; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, mother and father.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
