TUPELO Chris Bryan has joined BancorpSouth as a mortgage loan officer in Madison.
A native of Meridian, Bryan graduated from Mississippi State University with a master's degree in business administration. He is a member of the Home Builders Association, both the Ridgeland and Madison County Chambers Commerce, and Rotary Club of Madison.
He is married to the former Shanen Dean of Eupora, and they have two children.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. Elizabeth Vise was named promotions manager for Coastal Living magazine, a division of Southern Progress Corp., Vice President and Publisher Burton Craige announced.
Vise joined Southern Progress as an intern in Coastal Living Promotions in 2000 and was hired as promotions assistant that same year. In 2002, she was named assistant promotions manager.
In her new position, Vise will oversee the sales force support staff, developing and implementing new marketing programs to complement advertisers' print campaigns, while creating printed, online, and in-book sales collateral materials.
The Meridian native holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics, fine arts, and educational studies from Vanderbilt University.

Launched in 1997, Coastal Living has grown to serve a total audience of almost 3 million.
Southern Progress Corp. publishes Southern Living, Cooking Light, Health, Coastal Living, Southern Accents, Progressive Farmer, and Sunset magazines, and books through Oxmoore House, Leisure Arts, and Sunset Books.
Tyler Walton has been promoted to corporate services officer at Trustmark in Jackson. He is in cash management sales.
Walton is a native of Meridian. He earned a bachelor's degree in geology from Millsaps College and a master's degree from Mississippi State University in forestry economics. Walton is married to the former Kate England.
Ed Fisher, a professional driver for Roadway Express, has reached a milestone of driving 3 million miles without a preventable accident.
Fisher has worked for Roadway for 30 years. He is an over-the-road driver at the company's Meridian office and a member of Local No. 891 of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
In recognition of Fisher's achievement, along with many special gifts, Fisher and his wife, Ica, were guests at a dinner in his honor. Fisher also has received his own road tractor, emblazoned with his name and honors on the doors, to drive for as long as he is employed by Roadway Express.
Fisher joins a select group of active 3 million mile drivers at the Meridian office E.T. "Slim" Pickens, Royce Robinson and Joe Yarrell. Fisher and his wife reside in Clarkdale.
