Annual boat, beach passes on sale

Annual day use passes for Okatibbee Lake in 2004 are now on sale at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers project office in Collinsville.
The annual passes cost $30 and a second annual pass may be purchased for $15. The passes are good from Jan.1, 2004-Dec. 31, 2004. A vehicle license place number is required for each pass purchased. Annual passes are not transferable. Individuals who do not have an annual pass will have to pay a fee of $1 per person per day, up to $4 per vehicle to use the beaches and a fee of $3 to use the boat ramps. Individuals with a Golden Age or Golden Access card receive their passes for half price. The annual pass is valid nationwide at all U.S. Army Corps of Engineers boat ramps or swimming beaches that charge day use fees.
Office hours are 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday though Friday. Annual passes are also available daily at Twitley Branch Campground, 6 a.m.- 10 p.m.
