Inaugural schedule

Here is a schedule of inaugural events for Gov.-elect Haley Barbour. All events take place in Jackson.
Today
1:30 p.m.: First ladies photograph, Governor's Mansion.
2 p.m.: Tea honoring Marsha Barbour, Capitol.
4 p.m.: Worship service, First Presbyterian Church.
Monday
10 a.m.: Mississippi Humanities Council lecture, Old Capitol.
11:30 a.m.: Legislators' luncheon, Crowne Plaza Hotel.
3 p.m.: Local elected leaders' reception, Old Capitol Inn.
4 p.m.: Media party, Union Station.
6 p.m.: Gala reception, Mississippi Coliseum.
7 p.m.: Musical gala celebrating Mississippi's Moment,'' featuring country star Kenny Rogers and other performers. Gala was sold out last week. Tickets were $40.
Tuesday
7:45 a.m.: Governor's prayer breakfast, First Baptist Church.
9 a.m.: Foreign dignitaries' reception, Capitol.
11 a.m.: Inaugural ceremony, south steps of Capitol. Free and open to the public.
2 p.m.: Inaugural parade, Capitol Street. Free and open to the public.
3:30 p.m.: Governor's Mansion open house. Free and open to the public.
6 p.m.: Inaugural reception, Clarion Hotel.
7 p.m.: Inaugural ball, Mississippi Trade Mart and
Mississippi Coliseum. Performers include jazz singer Cassandra Wilson, country musician Brad Paisley, R&B singer Percy Sledge and swing band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Tickets were $50 and had to be purchased by last Friday.
