NEWTON Graveside services for Ethelyne Wilkins Hudgins will be held today at 2 p.m. at Newton Masonic Cemetery with the Rev. Curtis Cain officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hudgins, 85, of Fairhope, Ala., died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2004, in Fairhope.
Survivors include her daughter, Rose Olmstead and her husband, Joe, of Fairhope; a son, Billy Wilkins and his wife, Janice, of New Iberia, La.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Lonnie Everett and Romona Truslow and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Clyde Wilkins; and her daughter, Pamela Pavelk.
Services for Faye G. Edwards will be held today at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with the Revs. F. Gregory Proctor and Edward O'Connor officiating. Burial will be in the columbarium at the church.
Miss Edwards, 72, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004 in her home. She was born in Selma, Ala. on March 5, 1931 and moved to Meridian at an early age.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gaston Edwards and Eva Mae Gilbert Edwards.
Memorials may be sent to St. Paul's Episcopal Memorial Fund, 1116 23rd Ave., Meridian, MS 39301 or LOVE'S Kitchen, P.O. Box 562, Meridian, MS 39301.
Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the church.

QUITMAN Services for Ervin Clyde Parker will be held today at 3 p.m. at Cooper's Chapel Methodist Church with the Rev. Lavon Landry officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Wright's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Parker, 78, of Quitman, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004, at Riley Hospital. He was retired from the U.S. Navy and served in World War II. He was a Shriner and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include is wife, Marlene S. Parker of Quitman; a son, Johnny Parker of Philadelphia; step-sons, Curtis Reese of Atlanta and Terry Reese of Quitman; a step-daughter, Beverly Adams of Slidell, La.; brothers, Clinton B. Parker and Adolphus Parker, both of Philadelphia and Aaron Lee Parker of Cherokee Village, Ark.; sisters, Lessie Lee Tingle, Betty Jean Perry, and Jo Ann Seale, all of Philadelphia, Sarah Holmes of Morton and Mary Jeanette Roach of Tupelo; a grandson, John Parker of Philadelphia and a great-grandchild, Christian Parker of Philadelphia.
Visitation will be today 2 hours prior to the service at the church.
DEKALB Services for Jeanne Adams Reed will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at DeKalb Presbyterian Church with the Rev. David Keller officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Reed, of DeKalb, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004. Mrs. Reed died after a long and valiant battle with cancer. She was a Christian woman whose beauty, elegance and strength were only exceeded by her love of family.
Mrs. Reed was born and raised in DeKalb. She attended The University of Mississippi where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and was a loyal Rebel. She and her beloved husband, John T. Reed, Jr., who preceded her in death, married in 1951 and returned to DeKalb where they were co-owners of Adams Drug Store for 17 years.
Mrs. Reed was an active member of the DeKalb Presbyterian Church where she helped with the youth group and served as a member of the Women in the Church (WIC). She also was active for years in the Business Women's Circle and served as treasurer.
Survivors include her son, Doug Reed and his wife, Rhonda; her daughter Lynn Vanek and her husband, John; her grandchildren, Gene Luke, Lamenda Hase, Staci Reed, Sammy Vanek, Jackie Vanek and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Reed, Jr., her joyful son, John T. "Johnny" Reed, III, and her loving parents, Dick and Blannie Adams.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
DEKALB Arrangements were incomplete at Stephens Funeral Home for Mildred McGowen, 70, of DeKalb, who died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, in DeKalb.
Arrangements were incomplete at E.E. McDonald Funeral Home for Lamar Lewis, 86, of Collinsville, who died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004, at The Specialty Hospital of Meridian.
