Farmer, Barbour

Mr. and Mrs. Randy Farmer of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Lynne, to Shaun David Barbour of Wake Forest, N.C., the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Barbour of Youngsville, N.C., and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Finkestein of Benson, N.C.
A reception will be Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, at 4 p.m. at Cathedral Assembly in Meridian.
Miss Farmer is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Farmer of Meridian, Hazel Mathis of Waynesboro and the late W.C. Mathis of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of West Lauderdale High School and received a bachelor's degree in Biblical studies from Evangel University in Springfield, Mo.
While at Evangel, she served on the executive board of CROSSwalk Student Ministries.
Miss Farmer is employed as an administrative manager with IMI Association Executives in Durham, N.C.
Mr. Barbour is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. R.G. Byrd of Fort Myers, Fla., Mr. and Mrs. Ron Blanchard of Benson, and the late A. Max Barbour.
The bridegroom-elect is a 1998 graduate of Franklinton High School in Franklinton, N.C. He has served for two years as youth ministries director at Grace Assembly.
He is employed with Grace Assembly as music and media director and with Grace Builders in Wake Forest.
Friends and family are invited to attend.
