Meridian High School's Jay Crane and Steven Sollie along with Northeast Lauderdale High School's Kenny Wesley and Chad Brunson signed to play for the Meridian Community College men's soccer team next season.
The four players inked their names to letters of intent to play for the Eagles in the Damon Fitness Center at MCC on Wednesday afternoon.
Crane is a marking back for the Wildcats, who currently hold a 4-6 record, and he is a team captain.
The Meridian High defender said he signed to play for the Eagles because of the program's strong winning tradition and he has heard many positive things about George.
Sollie said signing to play for the junior college program has been a dream for him as a player for a long time.
The Wildcats player was a member of the U-19 state games team that captured the gold medal, and he played for the U-16 National State games team.
Sollie won gold medals in 2001 and 2002 as a member of the U-16 State Games of Mississippi squad.
Wesley has been a member of the Northeast boys' soccer squad for the past three seasons, and Trojans head coach Chris Ferry described him as a clutch player, who can step up and make the big plays.
The Northeast goalkeeper, who has helped the team earn a 9-2 mark so far this season, said MCC's program was attractive to him because of the winning tradition and because the school kept him near home.
Brunson, who began playing soccer in Texas, has also been a member of the Northeast team for the last three seasons.
