Hammond, Sanders

Shirley L. Hammond of Meridian announces the engagement of her daughter, Lashanda F., to David M. Sanders, son of Jody and Ann Walters of Meridian, and Mr. and Mrs. Byron Sanders of Enterprise. Miss Hammond also is the daughter of the late Sammie C. Hammond.
The wedding will be Saturday, Nov. 22, 2003, at noon at the Evangel Temple in Meridian.
Ms. Hammond is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Otis Ledlow and the late Mr. and Mrs. Johnny C. Hammond.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School and received an associate's degree in nursing from Meridian Community College.
While attending MCC, she was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Students and the College Activities Board.
Ms. Hammond is employed by Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Sanders is the grandson of Mildred Rhoden of Pachuta, the late Rex Jenkins Sr., Nina Sanders of Enterprise and the late Harmon Sanders, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Walters of Toomsuba.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School and is employed by Rowan Companies Inc.
A reception will be held at the White House of the Evangel Temple following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
