Walton, Ethridge

Ashley Paige Ethridge of Meridian and the Rev. Rusty Lee Walton of Little Rock were married Saturday, June 21, 2003, at Midway Baptist Church in Meridian with the Revs. William B. Webb, Lin Chesney and Dr. Keith Grubbs officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Dee Van Devender of Meridian and the late Walter Ethridge and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Walton of Little Rock.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ethridge, Gladys Ethridge and the late Robert L. Ethridge.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mrs. Wilma Ruth Walton and the late Henton Walton and the late Claiborne and Marie Knight.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Mrs. Becky Fulton, pianist; Mrs. Senita Webb, organist; Mr. Ryan Moore, guitarist; and Ms. Deann Cleveland, trumpeteer.
The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Chris Ethridge. She wore a strapless A-line white matte satin gown with a long sleeved floor-length chiffon duster overlay. The gown and duster were adorned with bugle beads and irridescent sequins.
Jaycee Butler and Julie Heoniges, both of Meridian, served as matrons of honor. Brandi Beeson of Meridian served as maid of honor. Other attendants were Dana Phillips of New Orleans and Laura Johnson and Laurel Ethridge, both of Meridian. Junior bridesmaid was Kendal Carpenter of Meridian.
Kayla Walton of Little Rock served as flower girl.
The bridegroom's father served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Brian Walton, Dusty Russell, Joseph Knight and Neil Knight, all of Little Rock, and Chris Ethridge, Dock Boyd, Steven Sullivan and Justin Hike, all of Meridian. Junior groomsmen was Logan Ethridge of Meridian. Brock and Brice Walton, of Little Rock, served as ringbearers.Program attendants were Taylor Carpenter of Demopolis, Ala.
A reception was held at the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Lydia Moore, Debbie Boyd, Lorie Sloan, Pam Harrison, Shan Goforth, Debbie McWhorter, Diane White and Marsha Ramia.
