Rushing, Harris

Vincent and Bonnie Coleman of Ridgeland and Ron Rushing of Navarre Beach, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter, Mandy Lee Rushing, to John E. Harris of Ocean Springs, son of Frances Galle and John A. Harris, both of Ocean Springs.
A family wedding will be Saturday, Aug. 23, 2003, in Jackson.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Rushing, the late Margaret Rushing of Collinsville, Dr. and Mrs. H.L. May of Newton and Mrs. S. Reagan Coleman of Jackson.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Woodland Hills Baptist Academy in Jackson and attended Mississippi State University. She received an EMT/Paramedic degree from Holmes Community College.
Miss Rushing is employed by American Medical Response on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Mr. Harris is the grandson of Gladys Harris, and Ethel and Penny Cates all of Ocean Springs.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Ocean Springs High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. He graduated from the Mississippi State Fire Academy and will be attending EMT school this fall.
Mr. Harris is a firefighter with the city of D'Iberville.
