Clarice Patricia "Pat" Ward will be honored in a memorial tribute by The International Singing Brakeman Association on Tuesday at 7 p.m., according to TISBA secretary Leola Ezell. The event will be held at the hospitality room at the Best Western on South Frontage Road.
The "TISBA Troopers," singers and entertainers, will contribute their talents as a salute to her memory. Singer Rick McWilliams and wife Terri remember "Aunt Pat" with other family members and thanked TISBA members in advance for the upcoming tribute.
Pat died in Corpus Christi, Texas, on May 17. She was 77. Pat was the oldest child of the late E.R. "Uncle Dick" McWilliams Sr. and Elsie McWilliams, who penned more than 30 of the classic Jimmie Rodgers songs.
