Rodgers, McLarty

Dean Ready Rodgers of Meridian announces the engagement of her daughter, Amy Nicole, to Shane Ray McLarty, son of Judy DeVaughn McLarty of Memphis, Tenn., and Floyd Ray McLarty of Olive Branch.
The private ceremony will be Wednesday, May 14, 2003, at 6 p.m. on the beach at Fort Zachary Taylor State Park in Key West, Fla.
Miss Rodgers is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William E. Ready Sr. of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Lamar High School and received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Mississippi.
While attending Ole Miss, she was a member of Teachers of Tomorrow, International Reading Association and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. She was on the Dean's List and the Chancellor's Honor Roll.
Mr. McLarty is the grandson of Ruby McLarty of Abbeville and the late William McLarty, and Mr. and Mrs. Miles DeVaughn of Memphis, Tenn.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Olive Branch High School and received a bachelor's of business administration in banking and finance from the University of Mississippi.
While attending Ole Miss, he was a member of the Financier's Club.
Mr. McLarty is employed by BancorpSouth Bank.
A reception will be held at the Oxford University Club following the ceremony.
