Graveside services for Howell Elmer "Billy" White will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. David Meadows officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. White, 83, of Meridian, died Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and served as a life member of Disabled American Veterans and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his wife, Martina White of Meridian; sons, Howell White Jr. and his wife, Janet, of Hoover, Ala., and Marty White of Meridian; sisters, Dot Love of Knoxville, Tenn., and Jean Watts of Greenville; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Fairchild of Meridian; three grandchildren, Paul White of Hoover, Mark White of Vail, Colo., and Catherine White of Hoover.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Mae White; two sisters, Evelyn Walker and Ina May.
Visitation will be Friday 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services for Mary Frances Taylor will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at First Tabernacle Church of God in Daleville with the Rev. C.J. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Latimer Metropolitan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Taylor, 86, of Daleville, died Saturday, April 19, 2003, in her home.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Gardner of Chicago; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday 3 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside services for Ecta Ann Spicer will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Spicer, 71, of Meridian, died Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be Friday 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

DEKALB Services for Rosetta Yarrell Williams will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Good Hope C.M.E. Church in Russell with the Rev. Ernest Sanders officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with E.E. McDonald Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Williams, 83, of Meridian, died Thursday, April 17, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her son, Joe L. Yarrell of Toomsuba; brothers, T.C. Yarrell of Akron, Ohio, and Simon "Rick" Yarrell of Indianapolis, Ind.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband and three siblings.
Visitation will be Friday 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at E.E. McDonald Community Chapel in Meridian and Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.
STUART, Va. Memorial graveside services for Mary Evelyn Atkison Hill will be held at a later day at Meridian Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Hill, 69, of Stuart, formerly of Meridian, died Thursday, April 10, 2003, in her home.
Survivors include her sister, Edna "Jerry" Atkison Morkin and her husband, James, of Ogden, Utah; a son, Larry Kight and his wife, Kerry, of Cody, Wyo.; daughters, Dawn Hill Preston of Stuart, Lisa Kight Wilson and her husband, Ed, of Stuart, and Gerry Lynn Fisher Thompson; a son-in-law, Brian Thompson of Meridian; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and five brothers; sons, Herschel Fisher and Mark Hill, both of Meridian.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Wayne Hicks were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Revs. Jeff Bohannon and Duaine Morgan officiating. Burial was in Old Pearl Valley Cemetery in Philadelphia.
Mr. Hicks, 58, of Philadelphia, died Monday, April 21, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Hicks of Philadelphia; daughters, Paula Abrams of Sylacauga, Ala., Sonja Smith of Amite, La., and Sandy Ladd of Philadelphia; sisters, Helen Washburn and Betty Bohannon, both of Gadsden, Ala.; and five grandchildren.
Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Louvertia Humphrey, 76, of Meridian, who died Tuesday, April 22, 2003, at Riley Hospital.
Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Ida Bishop, 82, of Meridian, who died Tuesday, April 22, 2003, at Guardian Angel Hospice.
Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Mary E. Dumas of Stonewall, who died Wednesday, April 23, 2003, in her home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home of Newton for Ruby Griffin, 94, of Hickory, died Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at Bedford Care Center in Newton.
