PHILADELPHIA Services for Joyce Cheatham will be held today at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Revs. John Branning and Coy Miller officiating. Burial will be in Coy Methodist Church Cemetery in Preston.
Mrs. Cheatham, 70, of Preston, died Monday, April 14, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was born in Austin, Texas, and was a longtime resident of the Coy Community of Neshoba and Kemper counties. She was a Methodist.
Survivors include her daughters, Cheryl Breckenridge and Deborah Jarriel, both of Preston; sons, Gary Cheatham of Louisville and Lamar Cheatham of Meridian; grandchildren, Chad Cheatham, Tiffany Price and her husband, Michael, Tara Long and her husband, Justin, Sunny Breckenridge, Crystal Jarriel and Courtney Jarriel; a great-grandchild, Chloe Price; sisters, Frankie Hollins and Ann Smith, both of Joliet, Ill.; and a brother, Kenneth Smith of Mount Olive, Ala.

Services for Maedell McLaughlin will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Earl Wheatley officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. McLaughlin, 85, of Meridian, died Monday, April 14, 2003, at Riley Hospital. She attended Parkview Church of God.
Survivors include her sons, Jackie McLauglin and his wife, Sandra, of Meridian and Roy Mitchell McLaughlin and his wife, Carolyn, of Collinsville; daughters, Sue Black of Seattle and Vickie E. Moore Cooper and her husband, Jack, of Enterprise; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. McLaughlin; sons, James Ralph McLaughlin and James "Sonny" McLaughlin; and a granddaughter, Tracey Black.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

YORK, Ala. Graveside services for Annie Giles Catlett will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Clay Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Grant McLain officiating. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Catlett, 81, of York, died Monday, April 14, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include her son, W.T. "Bill" Catlett Jr. and his wife, Liz, of York; and a grandson, Thomas Catlett of Destin, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W.T. Catlett Sr.
Visitation will be today 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Eleanor V. Molpus will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Church of God Cemetery.
Mrs. Molpus, 89, of Meridian, died Monday, April 14, 2003, at Beverly HealthCare-Broadmoor. She was a member of Jones Chapel Church of God.
Survivors include her brother, George Wilson Valentine and his wife, Olga, of Meridian; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Miley Molpus; seven brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be her nephews, Mike Partridge, Tony McDaniel, Ken Valentine, David Valentine, Aaron Smith and Ricky Smith.

DEKALB Services for John Evan Persons will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Scooba United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Studdard officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Persons, 41, of Plano, Texas, died Sunday, April 13, 2003, in Dallas.

Services for Jerome Dixon will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Union Hill A.O.H. Church of God. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Garden Cemetery. Clarke's Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Dixon, 47, of Meridian, died Saturday, April 12, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine Dixon; a son, Brandon Dixon; a daughter, Lakeisha Dixon; and his mother, Jettie Dixon, all of Meridian; five brothers, Herman Dixon and his wife, Francis, U.L. Dixon and his wife, Mildred, of Los Angeles, Edd Dixon Jr., Rome Dixon and his wife, Virgie, of Meridian and Wally Dixon of Columbus, Ga.; sisters, Cecil Baker and her husband, Floyd, of Los Angeles and Scenelda Phillips and her husband, Jackie, of Meridian.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edd Dixon Sr.
Visitation will be Friday 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church.
