BUTLER, Ala. Services for Robert Douglas Land, M.D., will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Gilbertown City Cemetery.
Dr. Land was a retired emergency room physician and surgeon.
Survivors include his wife, Marianne Gilmer Land of Butler; two sons, Dr. Mark Douglas Land and his wife, Stacy, of Sulligent, and Thomas Gray Land and his wife, Lesley, of Atlanta; a daughter, Leanna G. Land of Dalton, Ga.; his mother, Maggie G. Douglas Land of Toxey; and two grandchildren, Robert Gray and William Thomas Land.
Memorials may be made to a favorite church or to The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 3 Forest St., New Canaan, Conn., 06840.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

DEKALB Services for Percy "K" Clark will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at New Hope United Methodist Church in DeKalb with the Rev. Wayne Bass officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery. E.E. McDonald Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Clark, 73, of DeKalb, died Wednesday, April 2, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian.
Survivors include his wife, Pearlie Clark; two sons, Lamar Jennings and his wife, Sadie, all of DeKalb; Percy Clark Jr., and his wife, Lora, of New York; a daughter, Cheryl Clark of New York; a brother, Lovie Clark and his wife, Pearlean, of DeKalb; sisters, Ruby Neely and Juanita Sills, both of Oakland, Calif., Maxine West and her husband, Elijah, of Gary, Ind., Noama Holliday and her husband, Edward, and Mary Clark, both of DeKalb; and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.
Visitation will be Monday from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. Services for John Edward "Johnny Boy" Harris were held Saturday, March 29, at Bible Way Church of God in Christ in Louisville, Ky., with the Rev. John Johnson officiating. Burial was in Louisville Cemetery. A.D. Porter &Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Harris, 54, of Louisville, died Tuesday, March 24, 2003, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.
Survivors include his wife, Jean P. Harris of Louisville; two daughters, Toni McDonald and Deve W. Collins; two sons, Cedrick and Andre; his mother, Minnie P. Harris of Meridian; four sisters, Carrie Applewhite of Flint, Mich., Beverly H. Foster of Atlanta, Winifred Harris of Meridian, and Carolyn D. O'Banner of Pascagoula; a brother, Robert Harris of Atlanta; and 11 grandchildren.
Arrangements were incomplete at Berry &Gardner Funeral Home for Mattie L. Smith of Meridian who died Friday, April 4, 2003, at her home.
