Hamilton, Taylor

Mr. and Mrs. Frederick William Hamilton of Newton announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Elaine, to Jonathan Scott Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Willard Taylor Jr. of Forest.
The wedding will be Saturday, Dec. 21, 2002, at 6 p.m. at Newton United Methodist Church.
Miss Hamilton is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bounds of Newton, Gerda Rayne and the late Derek Rayne of Carmel, Calif., and the late W.C. Hamilton of Carthage.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Newton High School and East Central Community College. She will graduate in December from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor's degree in applied sciences with an emphasis in hospitality management.
Mr. Taylor is the grandson of Elaine Taylor and the late George Taylor Sr. and the late Jack and Myrtle McMullan, all of Decatur.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Forest High School and received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Mississippi State University.
Mr. Taylor is employed by Community Bank of Laurel.
A reception will be held at the Historic Newton Depot following the ceremony.
