Bonita Lakes Mall security officers and the Meridian Police Department are investigating a series of four kiosk burglaries the most recent committed Tuesday night.
Capt. Keith McCary, assistant police chief, said three reports were filed in November and one in October.
So far, McCary said, there are no suspects and no evidence.
Tommy White, Bonita Lakes Mall marketing director, said the mall's security force is looking into the possibility of internal involvement.
Brian LeBlanc, the mall's general manager, said internal security officers responded to an alarm in one case within four minutes, but it was too late.
LeBlanc said sales associates sometimes leave merchandise unattended and that the thefts have occurred at all times of the day.
He said more security officers will be on duty beginning Friday and continuing throughout the holiday season.
