The Paralyzed Veterans of America on Saturday donated three deer hunting stands so they can be used by disabled sportsmen. The donation was made at a ceremony at Bonita Lakes Park.
The stands, bought with $100,000 donated by Anheuser-Busch Companies, were given to Naval Air Station Meridian; Noxubee Wildlife Refuge; and the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.
The Anheuser-Busch donation marked the second year in a row the corporation has contributed to the support of the Disabled Sportsmen's Access Act which directs disabled veterans and other disabled Americans to have access to outdoor recreation programs.
