Sept. 17, 2002
BUTLER, Ala. Choctaw County Sheriff Donald Lolley said his department is continuing to investigate last month's shooting death of a minister.
The Rev. John Mark Hartzog, 46, was found dead Aug. 9 in his study at Stafford Full Gospel Church along Pleasant Hill Road.
Lolley said his department has not made any arrests and not charged anyone. He declined to discuss details of the case, but said he is aware some people are concerned about safety in the community.
Lolley said anyone with any information about the case may contact his department at (205) 459-2166.
