Justus, Bailey

Wendy Michelle Bailey and Robert Stafford Justus Jr., both of Little Rock, Ark., were married Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002. at Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church in Meridian with the Rev. James A. Ruffin officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Mack Bailey Jr. of Byram and Mr. and Mrs. William Charles Stewart Jr. of Brandon; Brenda Lott Justus of Collierville, Tenn., and Dr. and Mrs. Robert Stafford Justus Sr. of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Mrs. Thurman Jackson Calvin and Mr. and Mrs. William Charles Stewart Sr.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Donald Middleton Justus Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Franklin River Lott and Ursula May Phares.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Lori McMullen, vocalist; Dr. Samuel Peeples, vocalist and guitarist; Inez Stewart, vocalist; Joyce Tillery, organist; Sarah Chumney and Audri Nelson, trumpeters.
The bride was given in marriage by her stepfather, William Charles Stewart Jr.
She wore a designer gown of white matte satin featuring Alencon lace and hand sewn seed pearls on the strapless bodice and lace along the hemline of the skirt. The gown was complete with a chapel-length train and she wore elbow-length veil.
Andrea Leigh Delaney of Meridian served as maid of honor.
Other attendants were Debra Elizabeth Butler of North Little Rock, Ark., Audrey Elizabeth Justus of Collierville, Tenn., Carrie Lee Rampey of Conway, Ark., and Melanie Rebecca Smith of White House, Tenn.
Allison May Justus of Meridian was the flower girl.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man.
Groomsmen and ushers were Jarrod Alan Justus of Collierville, Jeremy Russell Stufflebean of Meridian, Brian Douglas Wells of Little Rock, Ark., and Dr. Randle Lee Wells of Lynden, Wash.
Austin Chase Atchison of White House, Tenn., was ring bearer.
Rice bag attendants were Merry Michelle Morris and Madison Rebecca Smith.
Program attendants were James Oliver Peeples and Samuel Jefferson Peeples.
A reception was held at the church following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Jennifer Michelle Massey, Hannah Elizabeth Morris, Tracie May Patrick, Jennifer Lynn Sanders, Amy Boles Williams and Emilee Jayne Peeples.
After a honeymoon cruising the Western Caribbean, the couple resides in Little Rock, Ark.
