Shannon Nicole Green and Jeremy Davidson, both of Meridian, were married Saturday, June 22, 2002, at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Russell Luquire officiating.
Parents of the couple are Nicholi Neal, and Gary and Toni Davidson, all of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Betty Bronneberg, and Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Neal, all of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Robert Anderson and Marian Anderson, and the late Earl Davidson and Eloise Davidson, all of Meridian.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Angie Boatner of Meridian, as pianist and vocalist.
The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Chris Green. She wore a tea-length sleeveless dress with a scoop neckline. The dress was overlaid in lace.
Angela McKenney of Meridian served as maid of honor. Brandie Claire of Meridian was bridesmaid.
Madison Bradley of Meridian, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Stephanie Davidson of Meridian, sister of the bridegroom, and Rob Parker and Chris Green, both of Meridian.
A reception was held in the fellowship hall of the church following the ceremony. Rice bag attendant was Madison Bradley.
Assisting at the reception were Marilyn Smith, Opal Bush, Tara Smith, Brenda Galyean, Ashley Satcher and Brittany Brewster.
After a honeymoon, the couple resides at Ft. Stewart in Savannah, Ga., where the bridegroom is stationed in the U.S. Army.
