50th anniversary
The children of the Rev. and Mrs. Roger Carlisle Sr. will host a tea celebrating their parents 50th anniversary on July 21, 2002, from 4 p.m.-4 p.m. in the multi-purpose building at Northcrest Baptist Church. The couple were married in the home of Chester and Vada Symonds, parents of the bride, on July 16, 1952. They have five children, 11 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts. Mrs. Carlisle is the former Mazelle Symonds.
