Allen, Benson

Dr. and Mrs. Robert Ferrell Allen of Dothan, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Joy, to Hubert Lee Benson III of Birmingham, Ala., son of Kathryn H. Cain of Alexander City and Hubert Lee Benson Jr. of Birmingham.
The wedding will be Saturday, June 1, 2002, at 6 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Dothan.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Fendley, Ruthie Allen and the late Horace Allen, all of Butler, Ala.
Miss Allen is a graduate of Northview High School and received degree's in accounting and financial planning from the University of Alabama.
The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Lee Benson of Lanett, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Lee Hardegree of Ashland, Ala.
Mr. Benson is a graduate of Briarwood Christian School. He received a degree in accounting and a master's in tax accounting from the University of Alabama.
He is currently employed with a CPA firm in Birmingham.
