LEON JOSEPH POSEY
Retired game warden and farmer
PHILADELPHIA Services for Leon Joseph Posey will be held today at 10 a.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Gilbert Allan and Malcolm Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Neshoba County. McClain-Hays Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Posey, 80, of Union, died Friday, May 3, 2002, at his home. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Posey; and a daughter, Rita Page both of Union; two sons, Mike Posey of Philadelphia and Scott Posey of Ridgeland; a sister, Vennie Lee Clark of Meridian; and five grandchildren.
EDNA EARL LITTLE

CLINTON Services for Edna Earl Little will be held today at 1:30 p.m. at Wright &Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery in Meridian.
Mrs. Little, of Clinton, died Thursday, May 2, 2002, at the Clinton Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Langston and her husband, Tommy; a granddaughter, Christie Cotten and her husband, Todd; and a brother, Herman Heitman of Lake Villa, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles O. Little.
The family requests memorials be made to Baptist Children's Village, P.O. Box 27, Clinton, MS 39060, or to the Clinton Community Christian Corporation, P.O. Box 21, Clinton, MS 39060.
Visitation will be held today from noon until service time at the funeral home.
HUBERT HILL

PHILADELPHIA Services for Hubert Hill will be held today at 3 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Revs. James Young and Larry Joyner officiating. Burial will be in Hester Cemetery in Collinsville.
Mr. Hill, 78, of Collinsville, died Thursday, May 2, 2002, at his home. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Joyce Hill of Collinsville; three daughters, Faye Bell of Waycross, Ga., Lisa Bates of Philadelphia and Brenda Talbert of Collinsville; six sons, Herman Hill of Waycross, Jimmy Hill of Mershon, Ga., Randy Hill of Alma, Ga., Mark Joyner, the Rev. Larry Joyner and Ed Joyner, all of Collinsville; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy Burman and Ruby Cole, both of Nicholls, Ga.
He was preceded in death by a son, Eugene Hill.
FINIS TUBBY

PHILADELPHIA Services for Finis Tubby will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Pearl River Community Facility Building with the Revs. Travis Willis and W.D. Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the Hope Indian Baptist Church Cemetery in Philadelphia. McClain-Hays Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Tubby, 73, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, May 1, 2002, at his home. He was a retired Emergency Medical Technician for Choctaw Health Center.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha Willis Tubby of Philadelphia; six daughters, Darlene Patrick of Sebastopol, Rita Faye Jones of Ridgeland and Sandra Kay Tubby, Brenda Stephens, Gloria White and Bernita Reynolds, all of Philadelphia; a stepdaughter, Julia Yazzie Tubby of Philadelphia; two sons, Kevin Tubby and Bobby Tubby, both of Philadelphia; two brothers, W.C. Tubby of Philadelphia and Eugene Tubby of Carthage; 21 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Melvin Tubby and Jerry Tubby.
ANNIE KATE BARHAM COBB
Services for Annie Kate Barham Cobb will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Rocky Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Jeremy Howard and Owen Eubanks officiating. Burial will be in the Rocky Creek Cemetery in Lucedale. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Cobb, 90, of Lucedale, died Friday, May 3, 2002, at Brookwood Nursing Home in Leakesville. She was a member of the Rocky Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Jerolyn Williams of Leakesville, Henra Ann Clark of Mason, Ohio and Lynn Tierney of Seattle; a sister, Mattie B. "Pat" Jones of Decatur; four brothers, Pete Barham of Columbus, Dwight Barham of Hattiesburg, Jairus Barham of Decatur and O.C. Barham of Meridian; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry H. Cobb.
Pallbearers will be Barry Williams, Richard Sutherland, Kendal Simmons and Brad Emerson.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
CHARLES E. THORNTON
Retired coal miner
MADISONVILLE, Ky. Services for Charles E. "Charlie" Thornton will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with the Revs. Tom Webster and Rachel Nance officiating. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery in Hanson.
Mr. Thornton, 61, of Madisonville, died Friday, May 3, 2002, at St. Thomas Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. He was a retired coal miner with the P&M Coal Company where he was employed with Colonial Mines.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda G. Thornton; a son, Clayton Evans "Clay" Thornton; his mother, Nell Nicholson Thornton; and a brother, Ed Thornton, all of Madisonville; and a sister, Judy Thornton Wells of Princeton.
The family requests memorials be made to the First Christian Church or to Boy Scout Troop 528 in care of Madisonville First United Methodist Church. Envelopes for donations will be available at the funeral home.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. and on Monday beginning two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
