Love, Blount

Jaime Lyn Blount of Butler, Ala., and Charles Gregory Love of Birmingham were united in Holy Matrimony at First Baptist Church of Butler on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2001. The Rev. Daniel Reese Powell officiated the 5:30 p.m. ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Susie Morgan and Mr. and Mrs. Pierre Blount of Butler. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Howard Love of Birmingham.
Nuptial music was provided by Frances Ellis Powell, pianist; Sloan Caudle, trumpeter; Mitzi Gates and Jennifer Walker White, soloists.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. Her pearl duchess satin gown featured a wide, scoop neckline beautifully detailed with a double strand of pearls and iridescent bugle beads. The princess A-line skirt featured a double banded motif at the edge. The self lined train was highlighted with a double roping of pearls, rocals and iridescent bugle beads.
Her headpiece was a narrow band of crystal beads and pearls. The two-tiered elbow length illusion veil was edged with soutache braid. Jaime carried an all white hand-tied bouquet of roses, dendrobium orchids and freesia.
Apryl Miranda Harry of Butler served as maid of honor. Matron of honor was Susan Talbott Sparkman of Livingston, Ala. Bridesmaids were Sarah Dardanelle Clark of Jachin, Ala., Lee Anne Snell Free of Linden, Ala., and Miranda Shea Shepherd of Birmingham.
Abigail Christine Tucker of Meridian and Taylor Lynn Walker of Pass Christian, cousins of the bride, served as flower girls.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Randle Earl Cassidy of Chelsea, Leon Rudolph Free of Geneva, Robert Todd McGill of Birmingham, Gary Wayne Morgan of Butler, brother of the bride, Valter Ted Owens of Jacksonville, Fla., and Carlton Eugene Weathers of Anniston, Ala.
Ring bearer was Jacob Wiley Wyche of Meridian, cousin of the bride.
Paula Allen Tyson of Butler attended the bridal register.
A reception, hosted by the bride's parents, was held at Choctaw Country Club. Serving at the reception were Brooke Ballard, Ashley Elizabeth May, Brandy Scarbrough, Emily Thornton Shepherd and Robye Patrick.
After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple resides in Birmingham.
On the eve of the wedding, the parents of the bridegroom entertained the wedding party and friends at a rehearsal dinner at First Baptist Church.
