Pet photos with Easter Bunny coming to Bonita Lakes Mall

Special to The Star
March 19, 2002
The Easter Bunny will steal a page from Santa Claus today and next week by posing for pictures with pet dogs and cats.
The Bonita Lakes Mall will present "Paws, Claws &Cotton Tails," pet photos with the Easter Bunny from 5 p.m.-8:30 p.m. today and again on March 26.
White said pets are limited to cats, dogs and bunny rabbits only; all must be brought in on a leash or in a cage. Entry into the mall should be through the corridor to the west of Goody's, just like at Christmas.
White said families are welcome to join their pets in the picture.
Any children wishing to have pictures made with the Easter Bunny without a pet may do so tonight and again March 26. However, they will be required to wait their turn in line with everyone else.
A portion of the proceeds from the photo sales will benefit the Lauderdale County Humane Society. The Christmas event brought in
about $250 for the Humane Society, which needs money to care for abused, abandoned and neglected animals.
The Easter Bunny is available for visits and pictures with children in front of J.C. Penney from 10:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 12:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. on Sundays.
For more information, call 485-0473, 693-4960 or visit www.bonitalakesmall.com.
