ECCC takes two from Miss. Delta

The East Central Community College Lady Warriors fast-pitch softball team swept Mississippi Delta Thursday winning the first game 20-2 and the second 14-5.
Emily Casey picked up her sixth win of the season with the win for the Lady Warriors in the opener.
The Lady Warriors were led in hitting by Rhonda Munn, Sommer Averett, Anna Moore, and April Bufkin with two hits apiece, and two runs scored. Bufkin had three RBIs and a solo home run.
In the second game, Bufkin picked up the win for the Lady Warriors, as she advances to 5-1 on the year.
The Lady Warriors, now 11-1 on the season, were led at the plate by Munn and Averett as they went 3-for-4 with three runs scored. Paige Posey went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Casey was 1-for-3 with one run scored and four RBIs.
The Lady Warriors return to action on March 19 when they host Southwest Community College at 1:30 p.m.
