Sheila Cotton and Chris Kirk of Philadelphia announce the birth of a son, DeKeon Kristian Kirk, on Feb. 9, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Paternal grandparents are Seoria Triplett and Shelby Miller.
Maternal grandparents are Edna Cotton and Richard Hickman.
Lawanda Coats and Gregory Almond of Lauderdale announce the birth of a daughter, Gwanna LaNisha Almond, on Feb. 12, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Hospital.
Paternal grandparents are Robert and Dorothy Almond.
Maternal grandparents are Herman and Willie Pope.
Scott and Rebekah Stephens announce the birth of a son, Gabriel Edward, on Feb. 13, 2002, at Riley Hospital.
Mrs. Stephens is the former Rebekah Ann Caton.
Tainanna Smith of Philadelphia announces the birth of a daughter, Jaelan Shea, on Feb. 14, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Maternal grandparents are Danny Smith and Dianne Smith of Philadelphia.
Stephen and Taya Johnston of Enterprise announce the birth of a daughter, Elizabeth Claire, on Feb. 14, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Paternal grandparents are Paul Johnston of Enterprise and Kathy Bray of Sparta, Tenn.
Maternal grandparents are Sandra Cranford and David Bohl, both of Quitman.
Mrs. Johnston is the former Taya Bohl.
Randall and Cindy Martin of Stonewall announce the birth of a son, Jonathan Bradley, on Feb. 15, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Paternal grandparents are Raymond and Nora Martin of Quitman.
Maternal grandparents are Frances Shows of Mendenhall and the late Gaynell Shows.
Mrs. Martin is the former Cindy Shows.
Phelica Finklea and Moses Evans of Forest announce the birth of a daughter, Shakira Mona' Evans, on Feb. 17, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Paternal grandparents are Helen and Willie Evans of Lawrence.
Maternal grandparent is Ethel Finklea of Forest.
Mr. and Mrs. James E. Busby Sr. of Lauderdale announce the birth of a son, Christian Trevor, on Feb. 17, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Maternal grandparents are John and Geraldine Broadhead of Toxey, Ala.
Mrs. Busby is the former Virginia Broadhead.
