School holiday closings:

The following is a list of area school closings for the Christmas holidays:
Mississippi State University-Meridian campus will close Thursday and re-open for regular class schedules on Jan. 2.
East Central Community College classes will resume Jan. 7. Classes finished for the Christmas break on Friday.
East Mississippi Community College classes will resume Jan. 7. The last day of classes this semester was Wednesday.
Meridian Community College will close at 4:30 p.m. Thursday and re-open Jan. 2.
The Lauderdale County School District will close Monday. Classes will resume Jan. 8.
The Meridian Public School District will close Thursday. Classes will resume Jan. 8.
Calvary Christian School will close Wednesday. Classes will resume Jan. 3.
King's Academy will close Thursday. Classes will resume Jan. 7.
Lamar School will close Wednesday. Classes will resume Jan. 3.
St. Patrick School will close Thursday. Classes will resume Jan. 7.
