OBITUARIES FOR TUESDAY, NOV. 13, 2001

ALMA BRAND EASTERLING SOSEBEE
SARALAND, Ala. Services for Alma Brand Easterling Sosebee will be held today at 1 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery in Lauderdale County with Radney Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Sosebee, 86, a native of Clarke County and long time resident of the Mobile area, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001, at a Mobile hospital.
Survivors include six children, Alva L. Griffin and her husband, Tom, of Saraland, Cleanthus V. Easterling Jr. and his wife, Sue, of Toomsuba, Victoria E. Mills and her husband, Terry, of Fort Pierce, Fla., Dorothy F. Hampton of Newark, Del., Alma B. Singleton and her husband, Bernard, of Perdido and David M. Easterling and his wife, Teresa, of Chunchula; a brother, Thomas Jackson Brand of Clarkdale; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Cleanthus Vandory Easterling Sr. and Tindra Koyt Sosebee.
Pallbearers will be Martin W. Buchanan, Billy H. Buchanan, James H. Buchanan Jr., Walter E. Gratham, Leslie Clyde Gratham, Leroy Broadway and Jerry Keeton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeffrey Lind, Daryl Wolf, Christopher D. West and Michael G. West.
Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the church.

Retired pipe welder
Services for Louis Messina Saget will be held today at 3 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Danny Chisholm officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mr. Saget of Meridian died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001, at Guardian Angel Hospice. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and the Scrap Iron Sunday school class. He was also a mason.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Gibbs Saget of Meridian; a son, Douglas Saget and his wife, Etta, of Aberdeen; a granddaughter, Dorrie Murphy and her husband, Glenn, of Lake City, Fla.; a grandson, Clint Saget and his wife, Lea, of Jacksonville, Fla.; a great-granddaughter, Haley Saget of Jacksonville; a brother, Douglas Saget and his wife, Eloise, of Brandon; step-grandchildren, Eddie Moffett and his wife, Dorothy, Linda Bell and her husband, Don, and Tammy Lyle and her husband, Ricky; and eight step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, M.C. "Dean" and Jean Saget; a brother, Robert Saget; sister, Naomi Gillespie; a son, Bob Saget; and a step-great-granddaughter, Nikki Moffett.
Pallbearers will be Joe Jackson, Frank Brewer, Bill Rouse, Lamar Carter, Tal Dukes and Johnny Jones.
Honorary pallbearers will be the members of Scrap Iron Sunday school class.
ALFRED ISOM
SEBASTOPOL Services for Alfred Isom will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with the Rev. David Hamm officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Isom, 54, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001, at Choctaw Residential Center.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Isom of Philadelphia; three sisters, Joan Steve and Vina Willis, both of Philadelphia, and Martha Isom of Newton; two brothers, Robert Steve of Union and Frank Steve of Conehatta.
ROBERT KEETON
Graveside services for Robert "Bob" Keeton will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Old Marion Cemetery with the Revs. James K. Williams and Jeff Hancock officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Keeton, 24, of Meridian, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2001, in his home.
Survivors include his mother, Marsha Keeton and a sister, Lisa Michelle Keeton, both of Toomsuba; and a brother, Roger Allen Keeton of Louisiana.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
BETTY JO SULLIVAN

UNION Services for Betty Jo Sullivan will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Rock Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Marney Ray Hollingsworth, David E. Robinson and Ed Dickerson officiating. Burial will be in Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Sullivan, 36, of Union, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2001, in her home.
Survivors include her husband, Sammy Sullivan, her father, Joe McElhenney, her mother, Bertie McElhenney, two sons, Michael Sullivan and Sammy Sullivan, a sister, Katherine Daniels and a brother, Vincent McElhenney, all of Union; and several uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 4 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
DONALD L. HOOD
Retired from General Box Co.
Services for Donald L. Hood will be held at a later date at Gendernalik Funeral Home in New Baltimore, Mich. Burial will be in Parkview Memorial Cemetery in Livonia, Mich. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
Mr. Hood, 71, of Meridian, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001, at Riley Hospital. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Hood of Meridian; three sons, Timothy Hood of New Baltimore, Scott Hood and his wife, Sandra, of Chester Township, Mich., and Steven Hood of Clinton Township, Mich.; three daughters, Gale Hood and her husband, Marty Bixby, of West Palm Beach, Fla., Margo McGee and her husband, Perry, of Oxford and Natalie Hood of Orlando, Fla.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 p.m.-8 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Stephens Funeral Home in Meridian.
