Peoples, Palmer

Margaret Allene Palmer and Danny Lee Peoples both of Birmingham, Ala., were married Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001, at Mountain Chapel United Methodist Church in Birmingham, with the Revs. Mike Garrigan and Gordon Bals officiating.
Parents of the couple are Florrie Mae Wilkins Palmer of Preston and the late Otis Bryant Palmer, and Dorothy Peoples York and the late Charles DeElton Peoples of Birmingham.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Glenn Day, organist; Brian Gentry, guitarist; and Mike Padgett and Claire Cormany, vocalists.
Given in marriage by her brother, Bob Palmer, the bride wore a matte satin gown with a scooped neckline and short capped sleeves. The Basque waist bodice was adorned with Venice lace and pearls.
Debbie Frazer of Birmingham was matron of honor. Aimee and Abigail Bals of Birmingham were flower girls.
Jay Bishop of Birmingham was best man. Ushers were Jason Webb of Raymond, nephew of the bride, Mike Padgett, David Sherrod and Sandy Elliot, all of Birmingham.
A reception was held at the church following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon in Tennessee, the couple resides in Birmingham.
