Coleman, Blalock

Lillian Blalock and Leroy Coleman Jr. were united in marriage on Saturday, June 16, 2001, at Greenwood Missionary Baptist in Decatur. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Smith Butler of Forest.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bunyon Blalock. She wore a white A-line satin gown with long sleeves inlaid with pearl sequins of a daisy design.
Barbara Blalock attended her daughter as matron of honor.
The bridegroom chose his nephew, Terrell Hoye as best man and his father, Leroy Coleman Sr. as honorary best man.
The wedding court was composed of siblings of the bride and bridegroom, nephews and close friends.
A reception was held at the American Legion Hut in Decatur following the ceremony.
The couple honeymooned at The San Destin Resort on the beaches of Destin, Fla. They reside in Decatur.
