OBITUARIES FOR MONDAY, SEPT. 24, 2001

WILLIAM DORRIS MCNAIR

PHILADELPHIA Services for William Dorris McNair were to be held today at 10 a.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel. Burial was to be in Linwood Cemetery.
Mr. McNair, 76, of Union, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a veteran of World War II and Korea.
Survivors include his wife, Frances McNair of Union; a daughter, Julie Barringer of Silver Spring, Md.; a son, William McNair of Tampa, Fla.; three sisters, Audine Clark, Corrie Belk Spears and Johnnie Kate Shepherd, all of Union; a brother, Hugh McNair of Union; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
THELMA FORD

Graveside services for Thelma Ford will be held today at 2 p.m. at Causeyville Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ernest Allen officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Ford, 99, of Meridian, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2001, at King's Daughters and Sons Rest Home. She was a member of Causeyville Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Evelyn Leake of Atlanta; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lincoln and Ida Ford; three brother, William, Earl and Horace Ford; three sisters, Ruby Robinson, Jessie Firth and Minnie Martin.
The family requests memorials be made to Causeyville Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
ANNIE K. HARRELL
QUITMAN Services for Annie K. Harrell will be held today at 3 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Coats officiating. Burial will be in Cooper's Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Harrell, 79, of Quitman, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2001, in her home.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda H. Ivey and her husband, Thomas J., of Jackson; a brother, Paul Kostick of Quitman; two grandchildren, Ken and Tresha Ivey, Mike and Michelle Ivey and a great-grandchild, Caitlin Leanne Ivey, all of Ridgeland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lebbis Lee Harrell.
The family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Quitman or Hospice Ministries, 450 Towne Center Blvd., Ridgeland, MS 39157.
Visitation will be toady beginning at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Arthur B. Eggler, 82, of Meridian, who died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2001, at The Specialty Hospital of Meridian.

Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Howard Reed Pigford Sr., 84, of Meridian, who died Monday, Sept. 24, 2001, in Livingston, Ala.
