James, Gibson

Wayne and Susan James of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke Lanai, to Charles Chadwick Gibson, son of Charlie and Theresa Gibson of Brandon.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001, at 3 p.m. at Hebron Baptist Church.
Miss James is the granddaughter of James and Lucille Walters of Prismatic; Bertha James of Meridian and the late Harold James.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School and received a bachelor's degree in speech communication from the University of Southern Mississippi.
While attending USM, she was a member of the Speech Communication Association.
Mr. Gibson is the grandson of Wilma Jones of Jackson and the late Robert Jones; Jean Gibson of Navarre, Fla., formerly of Jackson, and the late Charles Junior Gibson.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Brandon High School and received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Belhaven College.
While attending Belhaven, he was a member of the baseball team. Mr. Gibson is employed by SunCom in Jackson.
A reception will be held at Howard Johnson's Convention Center following the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
