D.D. and Gloria Hawkins
D.D. and Gloria Hawkins will celebrated their 50th anniversary on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2001, at Midway Baptist Church on Old Eighth Street Road. They will repeat their vows at 2 p.m. with a reception following, hosted by their children, grandchildren and special friend, Lyndia Parten. The couple was married Sept. 3, 1951. The Hawkins' have four children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts.
