Theft investigation

Acting Police Chief Benny DuBose said today that he has returned a report submitted to him last week by an Internal Affairs committee charged with investigating a series of thefts at the Meridian Police Department's front desk.
The report examines thefts allegedly committed by a Meridian police officer and a civilian employee between February and May 2001.
